Holy red sauce, this place is beautiful! We went in yesterday (Monday) for a late lunch and it was perfection. It was too hot to sit on the rooftop deck so we got a table by the front window, and an efficient career waiter.
The bread comes with oil, and a white bean purée, heavily mixed with garlic and salt and pepper. Magical. The bread is, of course, fresh.
Three of the four ladies in our lunch group ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Simple and classic. The sauce was fresh, and homemade, the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the meatballs were so soft and flavorful and perfectly slow cooked- it was delightful. I know because I ate my daughters meatballs :)
I got the gnocchi, with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in a white wine sauce. The gnocchi were freshly made and melted in my mouth. It was a humid day so they weren't the lightest ever but honestly considering the weather, they were amazingly light. And the sauce was phenomenal. I would absolutely get that again.
We are still talking about how great this lunch was. Fiore's is absolutely in my short list of best restaurants in the North End. -

Service from Jill was outstanding and the two hostesses were great too. Also sitting outside was nice. However, the food just didn't meet expectations.
We first started with the meatball appetizer which was just ok.
My son's meal was the most disappointing. $36 for Lobster Gnocchis which was extremely small. My chicken Parm was good but not great. Nothing I would go back for. My wife's Chicken, Broccoli Pasta Alfredo was also just ok.
We did order garlic bread which was again... just ok.
My wife & I both had two drinks and the total meal was $151.00 plus tip. Sorry.... just worth that. We'll try another of the many restaurants in the Northend. -

Fiore's Eat Out Boston event was ok. The Caesar salad was fine, a little bit too wet. The Lasagna with braised beef was too liquidy. It should have been more firm and with more meat.
The finale: toasted almond cake was wonderful.
The price was hefty for the quality of food. -

The North End has all the Italian food you could crave. I came with a friend without a reservation on a Sunday night and we were seated on the roof deck immediately. There is complementary bread and oil. We preferred the bruschetta to start and I ordered the saltimbocca as my entree. Everything was good and our server was good. The price point is fair enough, but it's just another restaurant. Photo shows the general presentation of the food.

I. Love. This. Place. It's not fancy, seems a little old school on the first floor but we sat up on the rooftop on a beautiful early Sunday afternoon and it was delightful. Very pleasant staff. Good food. Good drink selection. Will def go back.
